Yep. That's right. D200 also doesn't use SD cards too :)

regarding this sensor, the sensor for D70s also 1005, only D50 uses the 4xx previously....so is this considered a downgrade in D80?
the bigger the number, the better rite?

technically correct but then again, the D80 is not meant to replace the D70s. it retains quite a far bit of characteristic from D50.

if the sensor resembles D50 type, then noise control would be much better.... as reported by majority of D50 users.

ya , thats another thing i was thinking too...if it is the same sensor as that of the D50, i think its noise ability would be very good..

D200 has AI metering prong for manual focus lenses. D80 does not....

I think they filled in the fields wrongly...
it's supposed to be for the Power Requirements field... read the comparision with a D200 and you'd know.

Nope would stick to my d70s for the moment :) Anyway would rather upgrade to D200 rather than D80 if upgrading at all.
