So the launch today is not true?

Open the link below and wait for the animation clip to end -At the end it says on the top right corner - Expected release date - 1st Sptember, 2006. I don't think they can afford to wait any londer than a month or 2 at the most with Sony in town. :dunno:

For my own sake too i wish they drop it in the market soon ;p

That's right. And my source tells me that the D80 might only arrive in October or November.
As for the status of the lenses, it is still unknown.
