Great. Then the EF100 f/2.8 macro will be to your liking. I have never regret buying this lens. If you want even more magnification, you can go for MPE65 MF lens which can go from 1:1 ratio to 5:1 ratio aka 5x magnification .

Easy, do a front focus shot on a white surface and then a rear focus shot on the white surface to check for dust bunnies.

Currently, I'm using the 100mm macro f/2.8 on my 450D. MP-E 65 is mainly for extreme macro and extreme details .
