430EXII not worth to get for the price now... $450 (w/GST) I rather u get a 2nd hand 580EXII off the B&S. Saw some really mint con'd 580EXII @ $550. Park there and wait. Had seen a few cases liao. I just dun see the need for me to get a 2nd one if not I sure hoot. Haha! :bsmilie:

fyi, i only bring a dslr (minus the batt grip) + flash + a std lens + 2xBP511 + 1x extra CF. all these loaded into TT Speed Freak (got it from B&S for $110). travel light lah bro!

Yeah, travel light, not forgetting help to carry shopping bags!

This lens is versatile. Macro, Portrait + Street.. 3 in 1. But the L IS version is even better. :bsmilie:

Most importantly, what will you want to shoot with this lens? If you are looking for Marco, definate yes. If you are like only 10% macro and the rest are portraits and streets, a prime 50mm or 85mm 1.8/1.4 will be better.
