Tolong Needed (Im in Davao, Philippines)

While on burst mode my 50D give error message .... cannot remember exactly but it goes like 'lens contact dirty' only resume normal ops when I switch off, remove and replace the lens. This only happen with my brand new 17-55mm F2.8. Troublesome la.

Try cleaning the golden metallic parts bro. The electronic contacts.
It could be due to dust or moisture. Oxidisation unlikely as your body and lens are new.
Just wipe them clean with a microfibre or soft cloth can already.

i guess it is due to the writing of data to the card is not fast enough therefore the error message (busy) appears.

Yupp, that's a set back i'm looking at too. Rather get a 17-40L instead.

GMAN

could it be the lens?
Yupp, it's mostly the lens, because the mounting is not metal, it's plastic. So the lens can still shift a little even though locked in
