Any had experience convert 300D for IR or know any place in singapore which offer the service?

In singapore, I know none.

But 1,000 km north of where you live, there's city call bangkok :-) At its heart, Siam Square, there's one of the greatest Camera Shop of thailand (http://www.fotofile.net).

Cost of modifying is about $100, CLA included! S&H cost -- unknown. Service is 100% reliable. Most of IR modified cameras in Thailand start their life from here :-)

If you want to remove the IR blocking filter and refit an optical glass filter (to re-calibrate focal plane), you can do it at Canon Singapore. Optical glass has to be purchased from Edmund Scientific (Cost 40 $) and cut to size at any glass works. Canon will charge 120 $.

That mean the Optical glass brought from Edmund Scientific , then send to canon do the refit of the optical glass and re calibrate by them?

What kind or grade of Optical glass filter?
What the thickness and what the cut Size for canon 300D ?

Original Canon filter is 2.7 mm thick.

Edmund Scientific glass is 3 mm thick. So you will have to use spacer washers as detailed in the attached link to get the correct focal plane.
Part no of Glass is # 32-741 Windoew Glass 48 mm x 84 mm costing 40 S$.
You have to cut it to 27 mm x 19.6 mm or 28 mm x 22 mm depending on Camera model. Better cut to both sizes and give to Canon along with washers.

Refer to attached link.
