Anyone has any idea where to get the cable release in Singapore? :dunno:

That's a very good page that you have there.
I especially like the part where you wrote: " It's not fair that it costs 1/5 of the Leica and has such good lenses." "See? It has no red dot!";p

where did you get the black 21mm from ?

I bought this interesting black 21mm lense together with my G2 Black set from a reputable authorized Contax retailer in Hong Kong 4 years ago. Could not remember the price but it was same price as d Chrome version.
I guess they had given me a little special offer as I was a regular there a few years back and had bought other camera gears from the same shop (EOS1v, L lenses and Leica M lenses). Have not been back there for at least three years now......:(

Envy envy!!! I like my Contax so much now I feel like dabbling into Contax SLR systems!!! I know its a little late though

I have G2 with 35, 45, and 90am. Also the SLR system with ST, 35 f2.8, 60 f2.8 Macro, and 85 f1.4.

If you like the idea to use large aperture lenses to create blur background, it will not go wrong with Contax system.

How I wish I can afford the 35mm f1.4?

I'm beginning to get Contax envy after reading the posts on this thread. Good thing I got no more room in the cabinet.

I dream to own RTSIII, with 21mm F/4, 35mm F1.4, 50mm F1.4, and 100mm F2. Possibly 28mm to make it more complete.

You too Terence? I've caught the contax bug too. :) I've been reading up about the system. I've calculated that a Contax G2 with a 35mm would cost less than a Bessa R2 with a CV 35 F1.7 lens.;p

Nah, I'm serious! Would've gotten one a long while back if I were serious about the purchase. I'm actually more inclined to the Hexar RF, given the commonality of its mount to my other gear, though it does have focusing issues with certain non Konica lenses.

The Hexar RF would be a good choice for you since you have many leica screw mount and M mount lenses.

no issues mate. I'm loving mine. Although the RF of mine is out of alignment. Waiting for KM to move to their new center before i send it in! Go source one out in hk, lots of used sets there! I used to use a G1 and 45mm/90mm. Sweet lenses. But the AF hunting and the tiny viewfinder made it hard for me to frame properly. A good cam otherwise.

Please ,go ahead and realise your dream now especially everybody else is ditching the film camera and go for the digital.
I USED to own a RTSIII a few years back but i finally settle with a lovely AX.
Currently beside my G1 set,I also own a 21mm/2.8 yashinon(extremely rare) 50mm/1.4 100mm/2 , 180mm/2.8 and a wonderful VS28-85.
Zeiss lens are second to non.It all has a very unique lens signature(bokeh) especially you shoot wide open.

BTW , for flash , I 've got a TLA360.
