If I remember correctly, on average.....65% of most charity organisations funding went to admistrative costs ;(

Only 35% or less is passed on to the recipients.

not true.... for KDF, only 15% went to admin costs.

u forgot the most important thing, generate the same amount of awareness and donatation for NKF as it is getting now.

Bear in mind that the present state of awareness and donations is at the expends of telling the truth.
The true state of how they approve and rejects a patiant.
The true state of the no. of patients they have.
The true state of how much they need a year ( not $60m but about $7m )
etc...etc

Yes, the NKF is doing a very good job. Every year there are 2000 patients less who might die if not for them. But they have also done a very good job spinning a sad, half true picture to pull at our heartstrings to get us to donate.

I am not a singaporean nor am I staying in Singapore, so I have never donate to NKF.

my only comment is that there are just too many charity shows each and every year in the TV, and all of the charity shows have turned into a gambling show. You dial the number, hoping to WIN a lottery. I am surprised how can Singapore government allow this to happen...but on the other hand, they are building two casinos...

Yes, they might misuse or abuse the fund. But after all we donate to those who needs not to whatever CEO or blah blah......if they really did, let the authorities deal with them.

Imagine, if all of you haf cancel or wun donate anymore in the future becos of these irresponsible? What happen to those needy? They will suffer not those CEO.

Don't worry, if they cease donation drives totally, their reserves can last 30 yrs...maybe 40 yrs w/o paying for CEO's salary

Any1 organising donation drives to pay direct to kidney patients? I will support, on condition that 100% must go to the needy.

Correction.. They only spent $7.2 million of $31.6 million, and they claimed they need $62.4 million per year.
