confused on WTS posting for UW cam

Hi,

I've got a fuji e900 and a full set of U/W accessories including Ikelite housing, inon lenses, Inon strobe, 10 Bar plate/arm etc for sale. Do i really have to split it up into the various sections in the Buy/Sell section? I'd really rather sell as a set. Any tips to keep in mind so that i don't piss anybody off?

Yeah, just list everything in a single post under the camera section. No one will mind. The thing that will really, really piss off a bunch of people is if you try to post it in the underwater photography section. Even just alluding to a sale there will or should get you banned. Does that help?

You should mention the items that you would like to sell as a set and those that can be sell seperately. From what I see the camera and case is good to sell as a set and the lighting system as another. IMO most of the diver start off with a camera first and later upgrade to the strobe if they like UW photography. Its not easy to find someone looking for the model of camera as yours and at the same time buying a strobe.

well you KNOW you're going to need a strobe sooner or later to get decent shots, so why not buy it together with the camera? better yet, get 2 strobes! hahaha

Beginner will not be able to handle efficiently both the camera and strobe on their first 30 dive...:bsmilie: So you bring your twin strobe on the 16th to shoot the lion dance :sweatsm:

Just a question, if you are someone wanting to buy underwater equipment (such as, strobes and housing), would you look for it under the various sections ? Wouldn't a sticky on WTB/WTS thread be a better choice to look for such equipment ?
