[ Compiled Info ] - Cool accessories for EP1/2, GF1 and other m4/3 cameras

Locally have or not? thanks Ah Wong :)

Hi everyone, i just got my new GF1 + 20mm 1.7. It was a display set at best denki. Can anyone recommend a good small bag? Not looking for those half case. More just a slot in type of bag will do.

Thanks!

JnK for E-P3 is kinda steep, but the workmanship is pretty awesome :(

Noob question here, anybody have any camera plate recommendations for Olympus E-P3? I am using Markins Q3 ballhead. Hopefully something which won't block the battery/card compartment.

hmm Sirui has a small tripod model meant for m43 type cameras. the plate shld work as it is very small

Try the Markins P20 plate.

aki asahi EP3 leatherette coming soon. Will update as soon as it is available.

for those who cant afford an E-P3 yet, here's something for E-P1/P2

I got this from a korean seller thru Gmarket. Grip is quite useful when using 4/3 although there is still unbalance due to the weight of the lens. seems like it should fit the E-P3 also

This is something that I cannot understand. If people are invested into the HG or SHG lens...why do they not put these lenses on the proper bodies...ie. the 4/3 DSLRs.....Especially those who have them. Here you have the manufacturers try to make things small, and then you have people try to the pad it up to make it big. Really defeats the purpose of the PEN. I do apologize in advance, and I can assure you I am not trolling, but just fail to see the point of this, particularly, now with the grip and that big HG lens which is further lengthened by that adaptor, you are now nearly the size of a 4/3 DSLR package.

I understand your point, but there are some of us who dont want to buy a lot of bodies. currently, I like the cleaner images from my E-P1, my other body is the E-500. while I like the colors on that 4/3 body, it's quite limited when it comes to high ISO. now I dont plan yet to invest into m4/3 lenses and while I still have CDAF lenses for 4/3, I prefer it that way. plus we dont have a low light zoom lens on m4/3 yet. when that comes out, then I might fully migrate.

all in all, it's just an attachment when I want to use my 4/3 lenses. if I want something more compact, I'll remove the grip and put my 17mm. I like that versatility.

Cool! Next time got kopi session bring share share lei =D

Oly5050, guess one main reason is due to the lack of HG and SHG lens other than the 12mm

Imo,there's no sharper and brighter lens than 50/2 macro though AF is slow. or cheaper than 70-300 on m43 range. 14-54 is also popular lens on m43 bodies, there's no alternative to that in m43 today. Tks napalmdog for sharing, maybe this is useful for epl3, that's if it fits.

anyone knows where to get screen protector that fits the E-P3 screen properly?
