compact camera choices

Folks,

As PC show is coming, and i intend to get a compact camera for my company.

Well too bad cos i too kaypo so the ball was thrown to me as thus need advices on choosing it.

Criteria as follows:

Is either a WATERPROOF CAM or a less than $250 compact cam.

Both cam if can achieve good zooming capabilities will be good.

Dun need superb pics qualities but must be easy to use or rather idiot proof cam.

Any recommendations?

Have been checking out compact waterproof camera for the past two weeks and have narrowed it down to 2 models Panasonic Lumix DMC-FT2 and Sony DSC-TX5.
The Lumix seems to have higher specifications but my wife prefers the sony for it's slimmer size. I think image quality is about the same. Both cost around $550+, so may not be in your $250 budget.

Have you even bothered looking around Courts, Harvey Norman, etc? Please try to do some research on your own, you'll quickly discover what you can get for $250. Then shortlist and read reviews online. Stop expecting others to do your research for you.

Yes i apologise for being lazy and expecting being spoon fed.

Will do my own research and shortlist a few then will post it online for advices.
