Just came back from Funan, TK photo has the GH2 kits, 14-42mm at $1399 and 14-140 at $2099 nett comes with std freebies. Good pricing.

Good price. I'll try to get a set this weekend and hopefully it's still available then. Do they sell the battery too? I'm planning to use it for video, needed the extra juice.

currently there is no 3rd party battery yet.. not sure if original battery is available. i m sure price is very high on the original battery..

some personal review on GH2, it is definitely better in ISO control as compared to GF1. 1600 look ok but 3200 is a bit bad. I tried to take the moon last night but unable to AF at F11. Not sure if i did anything wrong. I m just a beginner and trying to learn. Overall i like it a lot, image department I would say it is not far away from APS-C, but the video is awesome. AF is crazily fast and and the 1:1 ex tele mode is quite cool. I took video with 20mm from quite far... and it seem very nice

Just went there this afternoon no more stock, said coming in a week or two. Went over to TK foto, no more stock for kit with 14-140 lens. Looks like a hot seller. Price is around S$1390.

Great camera, UI a improvement over the G1 and the pics very tweakable in RAW still finding the best workflow. I like the cam especially its low light capabilities.

Last Tuesday got my GH2 c/w 14-42 from MS Color @ $1,380.
Shot some videos with the 20mm & 7-14 lens.

Love the Ex. Tele Conv. feature, a 'built-in' free telephoto lens.
Immediately assign it to FN1 button.
20mm x 2.6 = 52mm.

Have not try shooting with my 14-140 lens yet.
Will be doing more test this week.

well if it is the portability of E-P1 you are looking into.. GH2 is slightly different form factor..

the E-P1's slow focusing and lack of AF assist lamp kill me. also i really would like a built in EVF. so from what i read thus far GH-2 seems perfect.
I was adviced to just get Canon 60D instead, being more dedicated to photography. but i hopped onto m43 cuz of DSLR's size so i will not u-turn back..

Called John 3:16 up, the staff told me they have GH-2 14-140mm in stock. went down in 10 min they said actually sold out. =[

Anyone knows if any shops having stocks for it? Thanks!

hi you can try call MS color, parisik or Alan photo. reserve a set and give them your name and phone number. and collect it within the day.. they will reserve and honor it.

hihi. i called all of the above but none of them could guarantee me a set. Parisilk said it MIGHT come by friday but i need a better confirmation than that man. its sad how the GH-2 is featured right at the top on Panasonic's Xmas promo flyers but no stock everywhere.
