You just google his handphone number it will show up the brides forum thread and his
groupon deals of $25 per hour photoshoot.
I believe Andy is a legit guy wanting to do a decent job, just some hiccups and mismanagement, so here are my thoughts; imagine if your rates is $250 per hour instead, you will be 10 times less tired, coz you have the option of working less, focusing on quality, instead of quantity. Take the money and time to upgrade your skills, your gear, your life. At $250 per hour, you can easily find other good professionals to back you up, because you will be able to afford them easily and many are willing to work with you. But at $25 per hour, you have to find hobbyists, unknown people, unreliable people, a lot of uncertainty. A damn hard search, after you found one, will they really help you? They treat it like Saturday paid photoshoot. Happy go, not happy, sleep at home. End of the day what do you get? Good reviews? Portfolio? Brother, be realistic.
Groupon is a trap, said many times. Rock bottom cheap rates are unhealthy and disastrous for yourself and the whole industry. Why you want to become another example?
Many photographers are earning comfortable good living. They don't want to teach people how they do it. Because no point. People don't listen and turn around and accuse them. Nevermind.
Good luck dude.
