Think it is nice to include the Merlion as it has some lights on it plus there's two boat around the reflection of the firework.

i was on the merlion bridge. today not many people.

Here're mine taken from my seat at the River Angpow Stage Event Area using Fuji F30 in Fireworks Scene Mode (ISO 100, F8, 4 Sec).

I decided to give up the fireworks just to shoot the dance performance, but sadly, the particular performance wasn't performed.

Pardon the plastic (causing quite some flare) which was (supposed to be) protecting us from the rain (if it happens).

Think you are spot on.. its iso 1000 Damn..... Never checked it i guess.
