ClubSNAP Photo Contest - Heritage in Modernity

Happy New Year everyone, once again we are launching a photo contest, this time it is aimed at capturing the heritage and modernity of Far East Square.
Take a walk down memory lane and embark on a heritage trail that will evoke nostalgic memories.

Located within the heart of Singapore’s Central Business District, Far East Square is just a short walk from the Raffles Place MRT station and Telok Ayer MRT station.
Explore Far East Square and discover her hidden gems of “East meets West” and “Old meets New”.

It is time to bring out your cameras and do what we love, just remember to stick to the prevailing social distancing measures while having fun.

4 simple steps to take part.

1. SNAP

Capture images according to the 4 themes and surprise us with your creativity.
Pssst... Look out for exclusive access to the Fuk Tak Chi Museum

2. POST

To enter the contest, post your submission to your Instagram and make sure that we can see it, (if your account is private, we will not be able to see it).
Do remember to keep the original high res image for proof of ownership.

There is no restriction on the type of camera used or the date of capture. But please restrict editing to normal post processing and minor editing (this is not a Photoshop DI contest).

All copyrights to the images will remain with the photographer, however we reserve the right to display your image in relation to this contest.
Winning photographers grant Far East Organization a non-exclusive license to the image.

This photo contest is open to anyone in Singapore, mainly because you need to be in Singapore to collect and use the prize.

Terms & conditions:

• All entries must be original works of the participants.
• All entries must contain a short caption of not more than 30 words. Hashtags and geo location tags.
• Entries that have won prizes in other competitions or have been previously published or are intended to be published are not qualified for entry.
• Digital manipulation that distorts the reality of the photographs will be disqualified. Only basic enhancements such as sharpening, contrast adjustment, converting colour images to black and white are allowed. Do not add or remove elements in the image.
• Do abide by the laws of the land in relation to social distancing and no fly zones.
• The judges’ decision is final.
• Closing date for entry is 2359hrs on the 4 March 2022.
• Winners will be announced before 01 April 2022.
• All prizes are to be self-collected. Winners will be contacted via Instagram – valid contact details need to be given, otherwise entry is forfeited and will be awarded to another.
• shopFarEast E-Vouchers are digitally sent via the shopFarEast app
• ClubSNAP reserves the right to change, add or substitute the prizes or amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
• ClubSNAP reserves the right to disqualify any entry that has breached any of the above T&Cs.
• All image copyrights remain with the photographer, and images will only be shared for marketing efforts in conjunction with this Photo Contest. Winning photographers grant Far East Organization a non-exclusive license to display the image.
