I still see the watermark on top of my pics in the gallery. This time, it is in the centre instead of at the corner.:cry:

Hi Jason, this is the pic I was talking about. I thought the watermark is added as an additional layer in the gallery page and hence should not be visible here.

Just realised that this is not the only one in my gallery. Doesn't seem to be very consistent - some with watermarks, some without. Some watermarks are at the corner, some in the middle. Thks!

Hi everyone,

We sincerely apologise to members who have had their images "watermarked" in the Gallery server. This was due to a misconfiguration and software bug on the Gallery server software which has since been corrected.

Unfortunately, member's images may have been modified (overwritten with the watermark) and this modification can not be reversed.

We have temporarily closed the Gallery while we make sure that the watermarking feature is disabled, and are looking at ways to reload affected images from our backups.

If your image has been watermarked, the only way to remove is to delete and upload a new copy.

Once again, we sincerely apologise for this major oversight on our part.

Previously I also faced this problem, but more than that, my pics could not be properly linked when I right click on my pics in the gallery for the image location to paste when posting my thread. The pics don't appear in my posted thread after that.

That wasn't this problem before the watermark thing. Initially I thought it was some policy issue and so did not feedback.

Perhaps this matter could be looked into. Thank you.

actually I quite like the CS logo on the pics.. but not right smack in the middle! Is it possible for memebers to opt for the logo being super imposed onto the pics?
