u got ur cam in malaysia??

yeap just get it on my off day yesterday it original set with canon warranty card (Johan PHoto Angsana )
body n kit lens is Rm1900
then i buy also HOya uv @ RM90 n screen protector @ Rm 10

Nevermind still shoot shoot shoot!! It's a way to relieve stress and realize your creative self.

for macro you can also use the reversed lens technique

or get the tamron 90mm

I think the kit lens makes for a very nice lens to do the reversed lens technique .. especially when you go to 18mm!!! :D

P.S. remember in reversed lens .. you get MORE magnification at LOWER focal length.

I read some articles but don't quite understand the reversed lens technique.

Anyone got pricing for tamron 90mm?

that sounds like a very decent price! is it really much cheaper buying in our neighbouring country?

very impressed with the results from the raynox

the external flash plays a big role in the whole equation though.

definately! i bought 3 batts each costing RM155 (~Sgd66 @ ex-rate 2.35). the same batt is SGD89 from a local store. asked my colleague's bf to buy on my behalf. same quality as the product are from the same source. quite a huge saving from the ex-rate!

it is about SGD560 over here. I don't know what prices you can get over there but it is a good reference point I guess.

i will wait till i'm back. prices for lenses are insane over here. the 50/1.8 go for $154, cheapest I can find.
