The problem i encounter was at the surrounding lights at river view hotel restaurant was very bright coming from the top and surrounding ...and there was a mirror infront of me too :-( i shot the photo with flash and the mirror reflected the light back at me...i was kind of unprepared....anyway i later use non flash and photo look much better.

hmmm can try shooting your subject from a different angle away from the mirror..

I think that's partly what's photography is about.. approaching from different angles!

Thats true... could have shifted the people from their seats to a better location for a good shot....i learn my lesson and next time i will watch for bright lights and mirror as it will affect my IQ

You can get from mass order or at any of the local camera shops. Price should be around $50 or so.

hi, has anyone been able to 2nd curtain sync with a SUNPAK PZ42X?
I am unable to access the menus from my 1000D body! It just complain incompatible flash!
Otherwise the coverage and the exposure is ok

The Sunpak PZ42X is not compatible with Canon for 2nd curtain sync. You can check out the compatibility chart here http://www.sunpak.jp/english/products/pz42x/rendou.html

Thought of buying it but now drop the idea.

I think doesn't matter if it mentions rebel XS. From the chart, looks like all Canon E-TTL I/II is not compatible with 2nd curtain sync.
