i notice you put filters also, is it necessary.

cakka

if im not wrong.. filters are like the lens also.. it can get mouldy..especially when your filters cost up to 100bucks..so take care and keep it dry..

ok, so now i still want someone to help me rectify my problem with the reversal 50mm macro...

ok, teach me like a 7yrs old kid step by step. I did it and i cant see a thing

1) attach kit lens to body
2) hold 50mm at your left hand
3) put 50mm at the front of your kit lens (reverse)
4) aim at an object
5) ALL BLUR! CANT SEE A THING!:embrass:

Halo Halo, have NOOB question here before I start kaypoing on the macro thing.

Just got hold of a bottle of Silica Gel. Whats the best way of putting it in my Air Tight plastic container .... only 2 lens and camera inside. and what the approx amount.

was thinking of just wrapping a teaspoon full in tissue paper. can?

cakka

Actually, silica gel helps to absorb moisture.. And too much of it will cause the condition to be too dry.. This can result in the rubber parts of your camera getting dried up and peeling off, or your lenses losing their lubricant.. so be aware..

Cakka, i also keep my equipment in airtight tupperware-type box.. What i do is take an old handkerchief, put a bit of silica gel (about 3 tablespoons) and the bugger.. How you want to tie, up to you but i use rubber band.. Must change every 2 wks.. Abit lecey but worth the effort i feel..

tips for ya.. use manual focusing... then find the correct minimum distance for the camera to be able to focus properly.. ;)
