Yeah true..i saw it too..wat i saw on his BnS post..mahathir say theres scratch mark and dirt sumwhere..so maybe he did try to sell at higher price..but no reply. I lucky to sell it at 600...i post my thread for 550..but people keep calling and start bidding..end up got 1 buyer willing to pay for 600. hehe
wondering wat the next body he going to buy..since he keeping his lens..i dun tink he switch to other brand. hehe
Guys .just wanna check with u all. wat is the diff between tokin 10-17 fish eye...and the one cakka recently bought Tokina.11-16 UWA . I saw sum1 posting under BnS..is it good?

The tokina 10-17 is a fish eye...at 10 to 15 what you would see is fisheye effect..that means everything enclosed in a round circle sphere.... at 16-17 it would act as normal UWA (this is what I heard). A very interesting lens. But bare in mind you cound not insert a filter in the front coz the front element is curving outward. Any filter would scratch the front element.
Bro Mahatir is going for a 500D... heehee...I actually wanted to buy his 1000D for my kid to learn photography in Indonesia... but someone bought it at great speed.

1. It has higher ISO ISO3200, ISO6400...
2. It has 3 FPS continuous shooting even in RAW mode.
3. It performs surprisingly better than 50D in higher ISOs.
4. I cannot afford a 50D now.
5. The video mode is useful especially when i want to video my kids. 50D no video mode.
6. A lot of 50D complains with regards to its sensor performance.
7. I can retain my battery grip and all of my batteries.
Why $400 for my 1000D?
1. My 1000D is so well used till the rubber come off its viewfinder.
2. The viewfinder has a film of dust that cannot be removed by me.
3. Scratches at the lower part of the LCD screen.
I think I make a loss but I only pay $670 for a brand new 500D after I sold it.
Tonight, I'm going to walk around and shoot around the park with ISO3200 and ISO6400. Raw and Jpeg mode.

OK...been thinking of SSS this sat. I'm wud prob go down Yishun Safra in the morning/afternoon for some rock climbing action. Bro Haslan suggested this " night festival " thing organized by the museum or some street SSS something like that. Then will mostly likely head down to fullerton side for some NDP action followed by fireworks ard 8pm (full dress rehearsal). Nope. Both are from the old pier. 1st one is a walkway extended out into the sea and can feel that the IR is uberly near you with a tele. Haha! :bsmilie:
