Hi, I notice there are quite a fair bit of threads featuring sale of products. However, even after the TS has posted to say thread closed due to item being sold or he wish to withdraw, the thread still appears. Can it be removed so as not to confuse others?

I know moderators need time to do that. Would it be possible for TS to enter a password before he could remove the thread?

as a rule, we do not remove sales threads as it is a means to check records. if you have sold the item, you can close the thread yourself under the Administrative tab. the only threads we will delete are spam.

I agree with Mod that B&S thread should be closed but not be deleted.
If that item sold is foound to be of doubtful origin, we an track back with some known data as to when and by whom it was sold.
Maybe in the search function can include an option not to display "closed' threads.
