yep silver is highly sought after due to it's more look like the original OM SLR. Its kinda good also as I am considering OM-D (EM5) and wanted the Silver so it gives me more time to think and see more user reviews.

Yah.... Same here! What a disappointment huh. Everything looks good but we are hampered by the battery! I don't want to take the risk. Looks like I got to carry my biggy dslr....

Yes, agree. Other accessories can wait a bit. But batteries are important and basic.

Again.. i wont blame oly.. seems to be an issue with other companies as well.. When GH2 was released, same.. cannot find a spare batt in Singapore..

2. Use both batteries for trip
3. Upon return, sell 2nd set

I may be wrong but EVF (from other brands) do drain battery more the LCD... Was looking at the EM5 tech sheet and it didn't mentioned anything just this

Was looking for 3rd party ones in shanghai ytd but still dun have yet too. Even oly dun have then no need think about 3rd party...bring epl1 as back up to OMD for time being

The battery you linked to doesn't look like a BLN-1, and the price is unrealistically low. I have spare BLN-1s on order at Henry's and I've seen several other places that are taking orders, but nobody has them in stock yet, not even Japanese dealers. Maybe someone in Japan knows better. If so, please post details. :dunno:

I thought there was a CSer who shipped a whole em5 kit set from amazon jp? How come battery cannot?
