Call Cathay photo yesterday and they advice they have stock for black color with 12-50mm kit lens. But they are selling at 1800++.

Hi Guys,

Just wanted to check is it worth getting the OM-D with dual kit lens? (14-42 and 40-150) price difference from body only and dual is around 300+ and a noob questions are these the normal 14-42 and 40-150 m4/3 kit lenses?

The price of OMD is somewhere in the NEX7 and A77 price so it's that cheap nor expenssive.... thinking of getting this (uprade my EPL2 ) only few lenses that I really like to pair with this cam my old MF prime lenses collection, the 45mm f1.8 and the Panasonic 25mm f1.4 and maybe a good travel lens 12-50 (but find this maybe good only for day street walk about lens).

fight for a refund and go buy in Japan better. Or change to black lor, is very nice in black too. As i mentioned before some places collect deposit yet stock in slower than those simply reserve a set by sms, sigh!

Yups. I just checked with them also. They have the stock available for body w/ kit lens 12-50 but the price is $1848 including GST. That is more than $120 premium over other camera shops.

I think the price is about the same to the store I've called. They've quoted me with two kit lens (14-42 and 40-150) 17XX and body only roughly 14XX if theygave you the 12-50 as kit I think not bad pricing....

The single kit lens kit appears to be in short supply vs the twin lens kit.

Anyway, the 12-50 lens is weather sealed whereas the twin lens are not.

Only you know best which option suits your needs.

I just got confirmation from SLRR that silver will be delayed till mid May(double confirmed with Olympus Singapore also). Anyhow i am fine with the waiting(and since I will also be away these few weeks).
