Heads up. The memory cards (and the adapter) are with olympus and you can get them by tuesday onwards. So if you want to do a lot of test shots, make Sure you have a card handy.

Speaking of which, anyone knows where to buy the cheapest cards in town? Someone might give an advise where to get em.

Thank you! Called them up. A 32g class 10 transcend costs 46 while 16g class 10 is at 22.

The memory card included in the freebie is a 32g sandisk but they say the equivalent is a hundred bucks.

My guess is the market for mmfx adaptors will be flooded. There are only so many users who will invest in 4/3 lenses just to use the adaptor. I think many of those who have 4/3 lenses already have the adaptor but the non weather seal versions.

I just cant understand why they offered a big difference of a freebie. Anyway i heard in this forum that uk includes a
Grip and that is a real steal.

I dont have any use of mmf3 aside from selling it (which is very difficult to pull out).
So the weather seal technology is fairly new for the adapter... That might do the trick. Ehe.

Okay then, il not include myself to the influx of those having the mmf3, unless someone gives me a tap.

UK rrp n street price is much higher I believe. If you pay that price I don't think you will feel like you got the grip for free

Seems like the humming sound of the camera coming from the evf is present indeed. However, you will only hear it if you put the camera almost cupped to your ear or close to it enough.

The 20mm 1.7 panny on the body also makes a sound when focusing , hopefully Oly solves this through firmware soon.

The direction buttons on the body is much more tighter than the demo sets at IT show. EvF refresh rate is indeed better than EVF-2, resolution remains the same.
