Consistent with what SLRR told me prior to pre order, which is 3rd week of April.

If think once the stocks are in, the shop will start calling the pre order customer. If there is extra stock for that batch, not sure what they will do. I do hope they call the 2nd pre order batch customer instead of selling out in store. At least give us priority first.

Nice video! It showcases the (relative) AF speed of various popular lenses nicely. Interesting to see that the Panasonic 14-45 is faster than the M.Zuiko 14-42 on the E-M5! And the adapted lenses are really lagging behind, even the 14-54 II.
Mid of April technically means 15 Apr you know. That is practically the third week, which is what MS Color told me when I pre-ordered.

beginning April = 1-10
mid April = 11 - 20

i really hope all of us are wrong on the date and recieve calls from them this week.

I understand your feeling, my trip is next week and really hope i can get the set soon.
now i puzzled if i am more excited about my coming trip or the arrival of the camera.
Although I'm rather optimistic on the DOA, I'm also anticipate to expect a few days of delay.
Did you order them online from US? "Arrived" sounds like a package (or collection slip) showed up at your door. You sure bought a lot of stuff in anticipation of your new E-M5!
Anyway I have held off the urge to buy additional m4/3 lenses and accessories until I get my hands on the camera. I am still not 100% sure that I will like the EVF or the handling of a much smaller body. But I couldn't resist when a sincere buyer offered a good price for my 60D and 15-85 lens, so I am without a system now. Worst case borrow my wife's S95!
Is Eye-Fi Pro compatible with OM-D ? Heard it doesn't pair up well with the Pen series.

Courts has got back to me, so just a quick update and more information for all with respect to the release date:
Steven (Courts) today has got back to me. He says:
Last week, when I emailed Olympus CS, this is their reply (after much prodding):
So for everyone who's waiting, please be prepared that it'll be 20th April or later.
If it lands in Singapore on 20th April, assuming it clears customs fast, distribution to stores etc would push it to 22nd April and beyond.
So for all my fellow people who bought from Courts and paid full RRP (and paid in full also), sad to say we've been misled.
We get it same time as everyone else who paid street price and only paid a deposit.
I'm very disappointed, this means no OM-D for my trip. :angry:
* ironically, 20th April is my birthday.... oh well...... *
