Cleaning of CCD

Hi, anyone provides CCD cleaning services? Willing to pay as sending to Fuji is costly and time consuming. Am still using a Fuji S2. Kingly buzz me as I do not access regularly, thanks.

It is always advisable to send it back to the respective service centre to clean the sensor. At least if they "damage" it accidentally, they will replace. At most is $20-$30. If you send it to outsiders to clean, any damage is borne by you.

Canon & Nikon CCD cleaning should be < $30.
Think Fuji may be more expensive. Maybe u can call up the service center to check on the price & turnaround time.

ccd cleaning for nikon only < $30?
which shop? is it the nikon service center?
i just called them to ask how much is cleaning.
the lady who answered says its $120! :bigeyes:

nikon is about $26 the last time i called them..
i checked my cam for free and they found out dust on the sensor, asked how much to clean, that was the price they quote.
timewise i think depends on traffic, whether they have a lot of cam to service or not.
