Actually my first choice will be the 2nd hand D100 followed by the S2Pro... My budget limited to about 1.2K to 1.3K so have to think before I act... Would not be going for the latest and greatest models... :sweatsm:

frankly I think don't go for D100. better the D70.
don't forget DSLR bodies are basically computers. it has the sensor plus the on-board processing logic. you can't upgrade these. sooner or later it will become obsolete. unlike lens which will not.
the reason I went for the 20d was because it has the newer generation sensor, processing and flash logic. after playing with my friends 350d vs 20d, decided the 20d is more ergonomic for me. very important as I shoot in strange positions, long hours, and mostly manual focus.

i was also fluish, but not as bad as his.
