I'd yet to buy a first hand analog camera lor!
Paid $550 I think for the camera; another $400+ for the Nikkor 180mm 1:5.6 lens.
Then spend another $60+ to get three film holders from ebay.

Still, the set is not complete. Spotmeter went down before I got my LF, so am still in dire need of metering. Sighz~!

Not really. There are a number of good bargain items on ebay australia. Saw a number of OM1 from there, and was really really tempted by it! Hee hee~!

ohhh i dont ebay lah. which spotmeter were u using? do u know wats the relative price of a spot+ambient meter going for these days?

Soligor digital spotmeter. It's the same one as the Adorama spotmeter.

5 degree spot+ambient meter are quite cheap these days. Should be able to get a brand new one for less than $400. Then again, there's really no point in getting a 5 degree spotmeter. No point at all!

1 degree spot meter are useful, but are premium in pricing. A good Sekonic one cost about $700+ I think. You have to check with darkforce on that. He bought one earlier this year.

my cats are fine. my boy keeps trying to disturb me when i'm studying.. sitting on my notes etc.. dam manja that boy :lovegrin:

nursing a fat banana 4th finger. got whacked by a volleyball during setting a month ago. recovering slowly den kena whacked by a basketball again yesterday. :cry:
