kongo,
steps please.i'm a computer idiot.:what:
我的功力麻麻地而已.. 尽力而为.
more skilled personnels pls help up as I am not sure whether I'll do a good job explaining these..
Go to Control Panel -> Date, Time, Language and Regional options
-> Regional & Language options
-> choose the "languages" tab, under the "supplemental language support", check if "install files for east asian languages" are enabled, if not enabled it.
->after enabled/installed, besides the default english keyboard settings, you shd also choose a chinese keyboard settings that you are familiar with. e.g, Chinese(PRC) with pinyin or quanpin etc (ie 拼音 or 全拼, that's what I usually choose)
After that you should able to see a little icon on your taskbar that indicate "EN" which imply that you are currently using the default english keyboard, you click on it and it shall let you choose between the english keyboard or chinese keyboard type that you hv selected.
Go to your application where you are going to type the chinese characters, change the
language bar from "EN" to "CH" and you shd be able to start typing chinese already.. I hope..
Disclaimer: if you screw up your computer by following the above steps pls don't sue me hor. :sweat:
