Chiif Camera (Excelsior)

Hey fellow CSers,
Just wanted to talk about my pleasant experience today, went to Chiif camera store looking for a half case and strap for my leica m8 and was pleasantly surprised by the great service i recieved.
Despite having customers enter after me to enquire stuff he managed to finish up the job he had started on putting on my strap for me and dealing with my purchases, on top of that his friendly attitude and assistance and good prices really does make me a happy customer.

I would definitely recommend his store for anyone who is in need of actual good service.

I still remember last Saturday when I went down at around 7pm, I already saw him going back at the ground exit near the coffee shop. He was so nice to reopen his shop so that I can do my last minute purchase. Moreover it is just a small ticket item (camera strap). Thank you so much. :thumbsup:

Great service is the norm at his place, he gives an objective view to potential customers buying his stuff. I still remember him discouraging my friend to buy his lens for his crop sensor DSLR, instead giving him alternatives to consider. :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

agree on that! He may not be the best salesman for his own biz, but he certainly gives very objective views and that makes me feel comfortable to go back to him for views or to get things!

Chiff is an awesome guy! The first time I went to his shop was when I had a problem with my camera. He spent more than an hr tying to figure out what was wrong with it and tried to fix it. Although we didn't manage to fix it ( broken part ), he refused to accept any payment even after I took up nearly 2 hours of his time. Been going back to him ever since. Top notch individual! :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

I find that Chiff doesn't give you bullsh*t. If he doesn't know, he tells you he doesn't know. And he's happy to learn more if you tell him what you found out. That is not the case with most other retailers.

I was there and he is a man who is obiviously very passionate about what he does..

Anyway, Chiif is one of the nicest man around
