What's so artistic about the blerdy road? I bet it can't and won't understand the music from the baroque period, the classicalism period, the romanticism period, the neo-classical/neo-romantics, experimental, and 20th century art music. Neither could it tell the difference between the impressionalistic art of Monet and the cubism of Picasso. And I bet it can't appreciate the art of Cindy Sherman. Since the road isn't artistic, then how could I possibly shoot an artistic blerdy road?
It's just a blerdy road.
p.s. I hate that shot. Period.
knoxknocks said:what does it have to do with the road? the question would be do you understand baroque, cubism, impressionism et all? I don't think the Bridge nor the boats at Argenteuil were artistic when Monet painted them![]()
so i'm waiting for you to post shots that you like :bsmilie:

Should all pictures have meaning? Must there be captions and titles to lead the viewer into understanding what the picture is about?
If the picture means something to you, good. If it doesn't mean anything to you, no problem!
I agree that the meaning of my shots ain't strong, cos frankly I'm still learning everyday to better myself. Also, my preference of not showing something too literally may seems to be misleading too. And to top it off, I don't like to explain on what I do anymore, cos if a person don't get the theme the first time round, no matter what one say will literally be fallen onto deaf ears, i.e. not worth the effort.
So, what am I trying to portray? Well, if it's nothing to you, then it's nothing. Simple?
