This still doesn't mean 10/10 condition under-warranty 2nd hand price of $350 in BnS is unreasonable like what you said.
If you prefer to pay $40 more for the 1st hand lens + $15-$20 for UV filter, by all means do so, nobody is stopping you.
Assuming savings of $60, that's still 15% off for a 2nd hand but nearly brand new lens + filter. How much savings do you want? Is there a rule set by someone that says 2nd hand goods must be waaaay cheaper? How then do you explain the prices of 50mm 1.8 at BnS? - should it be given away for free?!
Now stop whining with irrelevant verbose verbiage like "shroedinger's cat" (lol did u just take physics IV or quantum weirdness gem at NUS?)
Like I said, if you aren't happy with 2nd hand market price, just politely state the offer you can afford to sellers, or get 1st hand, or just wait for better deals...
