I have been using a HF100 NTSC model bought from Amazon US without any issue. I have used the cam during my overseas trips and when I play them on my flat display at home, i do not see any flickering lights.
Considering that I pay less than $1K when it was then retailing at $2.2K, I will say it is a good buy. But of course, the cam comes with foreign warranty only. My view is that even if I get a faulty cam, I can either ship it back overseas, or repair at some costs in Singapore, and yet still have cash to get another HF100 from Amazon US.
