For sure you and I know it is not 599 at TK Photo, except for some ppl(not referring to syc77) talk is cheap.

to tell u the truth,i'm also not too sure of the current price @ TK.
i last(or i should say the 1st time) saw it when the TT thread guys raided the shop the 1st round.:bsmilie:

You can use Dual Cable with the current design.

Let say if you use 2 of our L design cable, you can insert both in, but it's a bit tight.

Alternatively, you can use 1 of our L design cable and 1 Quantum original cable combination.

you guys solved the cable problem yet? you cant use 2 cables at the same time coz 1 plug will block the other due to the L design.

then that is a design flaw if I need to forcibly insert the cables like that. Will you guys be coming out with a redesigned cable for it? That would be a plus point. Especially since I am waiting for the Nikon cable.

Thanks for your feedback.

The initial design plan for the Charger Devices CD-2X2 - A Power Pack was to power single cable, but we have to design dual connector in order to have 1 for charging, and the other output for connecting to the flash.

The again, the engineering of the CD-2X2 allows both connection to be use at the same time too.

When the L Cable was design, it was engineer thru feedback by many photographers. Yes we have to admit that we did not consider the factor of the 2 cable overlapping each other.

Therefore, we have plans to redesign the cable facing another L direction.

On a Plus point, we will be bringing in some original CK-E Quantum Nikon Cables and CO5 for Olympus.

This will be bundled with our Charger Devices CD-2X2.

Due to the high cost of Quantum Cables, we are only able to provide Limited sets at the moment.

Thanks for the clarification. Will be awaiting the good news.

the cost for Charger Devices CD-2X2 bundled with CK-E Quantum Nikon Cables?

Just checking, is EG going to design a Nikon cable? I would love to have a L version of the cable as the Quantum one is the normal bulky straight out one (which sticks out a mile from the pouch).

yes, there is currently no cable for nikon flash yet.

however you can get a quantum nikon cable which will work too....it is just...expensive..:(

Thanks for your support on our L design cables.

We have plans for the Nikon and other cameras flash cables.

The earliest date will be mid next year.

I have tested the quantum cable for Nikon SB800 (CKE) on the CD-2X2 and it works fine.

The CD 2x2 was used throughout the day during the Nikon/CS Nature Outing at JBP and subsequently(without recharging) used on Tue for an event. I am impressed with the performance. The refresh rate is just as fast as the QT Turbo 2x2. Furthermore after Sat Outing and Tue usage the battery only used up on bar. I also find the weight very much lighter than the QT 2x2 and small footprint too, just slip it into the side pocket of my cargo pants during my Tue shoot..

Fantastic :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

what about the amount of shot taken for both days.

what about the amount of shot taken for both days.

A few hundred for each of the day. Some shots are done with flash and some not. Unless I look into each photo's EXIF I would not be able to say exactly.

maybe I shd rephrase my question , I am look for durable and robust the charge can take, eg 1K + shot with the battery which includes standby time and maybe some of you have already taken the battery for an extented amount of time to test. How far can we push for this battery to be exhausted. stuff like that.
