S.O.L.I.D.!!!!!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Cheers,
ahtiow

thankz zoossh, seldom see u here :p probably might change the posture, to look slightly at the camera but the lighting was tricky, lots of shadow from the windscreen frame and had to light both person up sufficiently.

cos i have little fashion sense and no proper knowledge of flash, hence i never venture into fashion/model shoot. and as much as i enjoy looking at some of the xmm, they always feel a little more remote as compared to family, wedding and travel shots.

cropping off pic 1 & 3 not good. :(
2nd pic looks nice! :)

at least i know who to turn to when i need to ask about travel photography  and i know there's someone who is more than willing to share :D

point taken bro, thanks too :)

hi there!
nice compo!
nice treatment of colour! :)
imho,
i dun mind of the cropping face part for 1st pic.
love it the most!
if only you can "MOVE" up the lens flare abit more, and lower the camera angle bit.. :)

and i do agree about his eyes of the 2 pic,
maybe you can use ps to edit it? it looks bit scary now tho...
will love it more if she looks into the camera. :)

and for 3rd pic, should show all his head? looks bit weird to crop just a little tho,
maybe lower angle will be better?
and her pose can be more "dramatic" ?
just my 2 cents!.. :)

keep up the good work!

cheers,
tam!

awalk winner you came in a near third! (saw from willy's post)

Anyway for #1 right, if you place it against a black bg and add a 3pt white frame around the pic - will make a huge diff and reduce the awkwardness of the crop.

But i still like it anyway lah

Awesome work!

I like the toning and how you complement natural with artificial light.
Just a few nitpick.

#1- The lens flare is bit low and look unnatural
#3 - The crop is bit 'tight' for me :)

you've got such awesome models and its a great job.
gives off a cool vibe but the models seem to be missing out on chemistry.
as individuals, they're great =)

the flare in #1 is a killer. Ruined the picture. You do not need it!

thanks for the detailed comments
1)the flare was incidental more than intentional, probably it can go higher cos i can't go lower, was squatting very low against the wall already lol

2)actually didnt realise the eye until you and zoossh mention, point taken! care to explain if she looked more into the camera? as in more serious stare?

3)agreed with her pose, wanted more leaning, we both (me n model) agreed it wasn't ideal, bingo!

thanks tam, hope to see your works soon again

Very nice..

thanks, very long never hear from you too haha

thanks lunas, the flare seems inappropriate apparently from the shot, will take note
#3 gt to agree ah, even the convertible roof also not here not there liao

yup they are, they sacrificed their time really last minute to help me out, very grateful for their help. thanks :)

then i have killed myself accidentally cos it wasn't in the concept drawing but thought it was ok after including it during the shoot.. but unpopular demand :thumbsd::bsmilie: thanks and noted! :)

i honestly believed you could have either won or gotten runner up. you had a strong concept but alas the judges (in whatever mind they had) decided to chop down the numbers. even then, it was harsh because 3 stepped up and only 2 walked away with something.

it was even harsher when they reasoned that you were chopped away because your picture had the least audi. what the heck, it was a pretty similar angle to the winning picture!

i really applaud your effort bro.

haha no worries, i thought the other photo had higher chance because it showed the hallmark of their headlights but maybe the logo seems to be blocked otherwise, my 4th photo was indeed showcasing too little of the car though it portrayed the convertible roof (not enough lor hahaha)

reality always so harsh :bsmilie: that's why saying the truth hurts!:sticktong

The feelings of the series are good to me.
There seems to have some rooms for improvement, but it is beyond my ability to comment....

i love this set... :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

no worries, feel free to speak!~ no such thing as beyond your ability one la, freedom of speech haha;p

Well i really like the way you process the color textures and the feel of it is great, just the cropping of the male model's head seems to be a bit off for the pics (from my point of view).......like what Gavin saiid also,if you frame it in a different way.should look awesome.\
Well nice efforts buttie,i was late to help you out while you was taking these shoots, anyways hope to work with you again buttie.Cheers !!:)
