got money, got sound

I will agree with all that HATE the shutter sound !

Personally I think it is yet another invasion of privacy.

I do not come to and don't expect to visit this site to be disturbed by some idiot company trying to push their wares.

It is like some wanker from some electric company knocking on your door every time you turn on a light,

asking if you want to buy long life lamps.

I know that CS makes money to keep itself running by having add's flashing at the top of the screen,

but does it also have to invade every move we make (simply reading a post or adding one)?

CS is a silent site.

When I seek to view someons art (photo) I don't have to suffer a track of Grunge or Kylie Minogue whilst viewing.

Why should I have to listen to sounds created by some non interested company ?

When was the last time Bill Gates posted a photo here !!!

Haha, I didn't know where that irritating click sound came from.....
Now that I know, my FireFox AdBlock will take care of it.... FireFox Rocks!

I choose to use MS Internet Expolrer (because it is easier) though for some sites I use SeaMonkey.

Therefore I have to hear that STUPID shutter click.

I should not have to change to get away from it don't you think!!!

Firefox Adblock  works like magic

Me worse, I re-boot comp when I heard the sound...:)

We have just uploaded a new version of the banner which does not have the sound effect. Sorry for the oversight and thanks for your patience and understanding as we had to wait for the agency to send us the new version.

You may need to refresh your browser (or delete your browser cache) to re-load the fresh ad from the server.

the macromedia flash cache is not in the internet cache place(IE or firefox) i rem it was in local settings but i can't find it now.. maybe if you upgrade ur flash player to ver 9 it might clear the cache..
THANKS TO admins for being so accomodating. its damn rare to see the admins so accomodating and reacting so fast to non paying customers. Good on you!

didn't hear
so my flash player must be Ver 9

now will we get other members asking for the sound to come back as a default because they miss that [wonderful] sound.

who knows ?

they may be silent majority

and the few who left messages protesting about the sound were the vocal minority

Hmmm...
There are those who already block all the ads, that's why they not affected.

.

i can't believe the sound will be so irritating, maybe cause i either don't turn on the sound or minimum.:(
