Canon underwater casing

Hi

With all these new launches of Canon camera (G10, SX1), can anyone lead me to a website or provide me with some information if these new cameras would potentially have a underwater casing for it (by Canon and not 3rd party).

I was looking at the new Canon SX1 provided that they have a Canon casing available.

If you're looking at just Canon (OEM) housings, the respective model brochures will tell you if there's a housing available under 'other accessories', otherwise, check the website for future updates if any.

Another site is digideep, usually shows you the various housings available for each model both still and video. Not quite updated since they don't reflect the OEM Canon housing for G10.

Was actually hoping that Canon would provide housing for XS1 or even the S5.

At $174.95 USD.... it would be around $263 SGD.... and that doesn't include the shipping.

I brought most of my Canon U/W casing from MS Colour..... at most time, they are selling it at $280-$290. Perhars TS would be willing to do some leg work and ask around for the price among the local shop 1st..... :think:

Do you mean 450D ??

There is no Canon OEM casing for 450D.... only 3rd party casing.... cost around $1400USD without Strobe or Arms.

at this time Canon SX1 is not remain as effective and resuld oriented. Now many new model has been introduced which are much better results as compare to it. But in for under water images for brochures printing it is one of the best choice.

G10 underwater housing $320 at Camera Workshop.... just checked yesterday, ordered it and picking it up tomorrow

Why don't you check out the mass slae advertisement by Dimage?
The last I saw, they had underwater casing for SLR and P&S something very similar to the Canon 450D and Powershot.
