Yes. It is very much less than b4. No full frame Dslr on display at all.

They removed the 5D3 and 6D? Singapore is so awesome...

Ya. I don't see both. Just a couple of dslr 700D and i tink i saw 70D if i am not mistaken. The rest are their mirrorless and compact camera.

Canon does not sell accessories anymore in the showroom. I was asked to go to the dealers instead.

Canon Singapore sucks big time. Spent so much on renovating the showroom but in the end becoming worst.

any shop would have more camera compare to this "showroom"...OTL

From a business perspective, I'm not sure how they can justify a 'lessor' showroom. As it was, the showroom at VivoCity was far inferior to the one in Hong Kong. With the renovations, I was hoping that they could improve on what they had.

It can't be cheap renting a large space in a top tier mall in Singapore. If I were a Canon executive, I would want to use the space as best as I could to promote ALL of my products in the best way possible. This would include maximizing space and developing an environment that promotes interactive use of all Canonware.

This surely is a letdown. :(

I'll have to check it out with my own eyes the next few days...

Called the Canon hotline and was told that they they removed the camera such as 6D from display. I think Canon is really weird, not even a showroom to display their high end product. Most of the dealer will not let you try the high end product at all.

So discouraging, I seldom go to Vivo and now one my favorite 'store' is perfectly downgraded. I spent more time in the neighbor showroom (3Sung) instead. Hope it's not destined like National Geographic store, it's a big lost (for me)

They must have really smart people there at Canon SG. The refurbished show room is a real upgrade.

The train can be turn by anyone. There is a button there which has indicate "Start". Just need to press to make the train move. The Showroom itself has change it concept from a Showroom to An Experience Centre. So no longer a Showroom.

So what are supposed to experience there? Trains and boredom? I thought Canon is in SG to make business.

I think that this is the 3rd time Canon had renovated its showroom. It is became worst than before. Why spent so much money on renovation and yields no improvement? :dunno:

It's really a shame. I will be coming to Singapore in less than a month. I always make a pilgrimage to the Canon showroom every summer when I'm there. I hope that there is something to see despite the bad news.

Better cancel your flight to SG and fly directly to Yodobashi. ;)
