thanks for explaining i am newbie in photographing :). think i will get a filter..if lens tio scratch comfirm heart pain :( but not easily get scratch rite?
 

just wanna ask, does super fine and fine photos have a big difference? wat settings do u guys use? for me is fine :)

Acutally I think the fine/normal setting means how much to compress when coding the JPEG. So fine means less compression, thus bigger file, better data.

BTW, I think we should OT too much. Lets use the S3 IS thread for discussion on use of the cam. :)

is the video clarity of S3 IS good? it lacks a hotshoe but does it take good fish picture ?
