Which place sells the cheapest S3 IS now? I may get one... I like to take macro.. so what else should I get?

But does it come with Lithium batteries? I don't really like the idea of using AA batteries... they seem to run out pretty fast...

Check on AP and Song Brothers (I personally prefer AP).

During the promotion, you get free GP Rechargeable batteries (not sure whether they still have that now or not).

No offence, but to say "Don't seem to like the idea.....they seem to run out pretty fast" seems like a rather unfair statement.:nono: Check out the facts and why there are still alot of them who swear by AAs.

I'm not a die-hard AA fan (Lithium or Rechargeable AAs doesn't bother me), but I do see the benefits of using AAs.:)

I bought the Energizer Lithium AAs to try on my S3 about 2 weeks back. They are long-lasting alright. Will be good to buy em' when you travel (no need to carry charger).
 

get sanyo rechargable batts....imo they are much better than GP
 

I bought a set of Sanyo. Pretty good lah.:)

I heard that MAHA is very good.

I have no complaints on the battery life of the free GP 2100 rechargeables.
However, they take ages to recharge fully with the free charger.
I charged them overnight (>6 hrs) and still not fully charged.
Does anybody else have the same issue?

Buy the quick charger. I got the Konnoc 2hr charger 2500mAh (Konnoc/Sanyo) all charge in less than 2hrs.

But I think Sanyo batt cannot hold charge for long if left unused.....my Konnoc is better I think. Any prob with your Sanyo holding charge without using?
