A diffuser is used as it is called, to diffuse the light from the flash. In other words to soften the harshness of the flash so the pics come out nice.

zh2908 said:erm, the model numbers are getting confusing. is the raynox wide convertor lens the best? how about pricing? quite confusing with so many prices being discussed. anyone knows where to buy/ the place selling the lens at the cheapest rate?
like tks said, there is a WC lens selling @ $70 only. no one seems to have replied to his question. anyone?
lastboltnut said:There is an CS member who is a dealer for Raynox, see thread below, post #320:

Cause it sux! Trust me, you really do not want to go for the really cheap ones. The glass is bad, you will loose sharpness, will get abarations etc.zh2908 said:erm, what about the
"Vitacon wide converter which costs about $70+. I think it was marked 0.45 or 0.48." -tks
anyone knows about this wc? why the huge difference in price?
Yeah, originally Raynox made their stuff for vid cams. They have migrated into the still cam market though.davsmiths said:Some of these vitacon or lens attachments are actually designed for Video Cameras not digital cameras.

Can I buy another polariser and stack onto the UV filter you gave me? How much is a Polariser har?
thank you in advance!
felixcat8888 said:Yes the circular polariser can sit on top of the uv filter. Depending on brand. Hoya 58mm cost me $38 from TCW.
