is it really that good?

A diffuser is used as it is called, to diffuse the light from the flash. In other words to soften the harshness of the flash so the pics come out nice.

erm, the model numbers are getting confusing. is the raynox wide convertor lens the best? how about pricing? quite confusing with so many prices being discussed. anyone knows where to buy/ the place selling the lens at the cheapest rate?

like tks said, there is a WC lens selling @ $70 only. no one seems to have replied to his question. anyone?

There is an CS member who is a dealer for Raynox, see thread below, post #320:

"Vitacon wide converter which costs about $70+. I think it was marked 0.45 or 0.48." -tks

Cause it sux! Trust me, you really do not want to go for the really cheap ones. The glass is bad, you will loose sharpness, will get abarations etc.

Collected my DCR-6600PRO last evening from Morphis. It rocks man!! THanks James.

Will try to take some pics and post here in a few days time.

Some of these vitacon or lens attachments are actually designed for Video Cameras not digital cameras.

Hey Felixcat8888,

Can I buy another polariser and stack onto the UV filter you gave me? How much is a Polariser har?

thank you in advance!

Yeah, originally Raynox made their stuff for vid cams. They have migrated into the still cam market though.

Yes the circular polariser can sit on top of the uv filter. Depending on brand. Hoya 58mm cost me $38 from TCW.

hm... wondering if the s3 can use the Canon Wide Convertor WC-DC 52A, if so, is it better than the raynox lens? if i can get it 2nd hand @ $110, is it worth it?

hi newbie here.....

got the S3 2 weeks ago....
1) LAH-DC20 + WC-DC58A
2) LAH-DC20 + SRW-6600-58LE
3) ??adapter + DCR 6600PRO 52mm

which one is better?

Sorry, where is TCW? Hoya good? Got distortion when use on S3? Or would you buy another model if you were to buy again? Thanks

Peninsula Shopping Centre/Exclesior/Shopping Centre. Behind Ruby Photo. Look for Nelson or Daniel.

www.lensmateonline.com
www.raynox.com

Depends on the adapter you get. I purchase the lensmate kind so i got the DCR-6600PRO 52mm.
