canon repair

guys pls help, is my fren able to help me bring my a85 to canon for repair ? or do i need to go down personally ? 28 more days before my warranty expire....or i need to pass him my i/c?

the problem is due to ccd !!!! and i never see my model on the ccd malfunction notice. :cry:

Why don't u call Canon Service Center and ask them? They dun read this board. :bigeyes:

bring to funan. they're less particular about you being there in person.

if u goto harbourfront, they may insist that you go down personally.

this is what you should do at funan

1) make sure ur friend knows your name, address and handphone (must be same as that on warranty card)

2) the cust svc guy will give your friend a piece of paper and say, "sir, can you please give me your name, address and contact number."

3) make sure your friend gives him YOUR name, address and contact number, and that it is exactly the same as that on the warranty card.
