You can try Optech or Matin. Optech is available at many stores, among them Cathay Photo, John 3:16, TK Foto etc. Matin is available at The Camera Workshop. Not sure where else.

Thanks!
At least according to their respective websites, most of them seem to be bulky and/or have buckles. Are there any which are low-profile without any wild designs/colours? I was thinking about something along the lines of what Russ mentioned above.

You're pretty much not going to get a small strap if you're looking for comfort because the surface area of the strap helps to reduce the pressure on your shoulder/neck. You may want to consider Think Tank camera straps if you want low profile, but these will not be a lot more comfortable. Also consider Domke's Gripper Camera Strap, but those aren't available locally.

Any kind soul can post a black colour strap? I would like to see how discrete it looks.:embrass:

Thanks a lot.

Wow, the brown one looks nice too. Is local Crumpler stores selling them?

the blacks are more popular than the browns, so that will be sold out more.

i actually liked the brown one better.

also, there is one more even more rare one... the camo green with red accents.

hey, anyone knows the number to call to order. Am doing so today so that i can get my hands on one tomorrow.
Thank you very much and have a great long weekend

I got mine during Canon Photomarathon 2008. So far no complain, only it take up a bit of space in my bag and can feel a little weight while tis not on my shoulder.

Isn't this the main problem with such bulky straps? While they may be more comfortable when wearing, they also take up too much space, are too flashy, absorb sweat easily, etc... Unless one actually has their camera around their necks for hours on end, such a strap isn't really necessary right?

I'm ok with the bundled strap, but the red Canon lettering is a bit too much attention grabbing for my taste.

a huge DSLR is already attention grabbing, strap or not strap.

Did not realized that there was such a strap from Canon.

Ended up buying a shoulder pad from Bagman for S$10/- and attaching it to the original strap. Quite nice and makes the camera much better to carry around (particularly when you have a large heavy lens attached)

I have the Crumpler Industry Disgrace (CID), but if I were to inter-switch with R-Strap, its very cumbersome to untie the CID. Are there other good straps out there can have some sort of 'quick-release'?

Why would you want to use both the Crumpler ID and the R-Strap together? :dunno:

Crumpler Raffles City Shopping Centre: 63340336.
Crumpler Wheelock Place: 62386371.

I don't have the number for Paragon.

Ya just say Nikon dun have it only.

I started using the strap, its quite comfortable, at least comparing it to the stock ones.

Those who have it, you know why there are 2 small slits under tha canon words? Seems too small to put anything.

From the looks of it, it might be just decorative, and to keep the design similar to their "traditionally-coloured" industry disgrace models (note the curves at the similar places)

the ones at Crumpler doesn't have the Canon wordings on it right?

I'm not using both together, but just say one day I want to use the Crumpler ID another day R-strap, pretty cumbersome to be changing the CID in & out often. Just wonder are there any quick-release straps around?
