i don't blame canon sg, they couldn't have named it "Canon Pro SLR Pasar" instead and expect to survive :bsmilie:

You'll need 1 pro body and 1 L lens to be eligible

of course, if people say that's quite a bit... it helps to know anything newer than the EOS-3 will qualify. not sure about 300D and 350D though. my 10D got through, no problems. over in europe, you're supposed to have two pro-level bodies, plus three L lenses. that's a killer! :sweat:

Why would they want any member of the public to just go and play with their cameras for fun? I'm sure Canon has a reason why it emails its CPS members before announcing to members of the public.

Why would they want any member of the public to just go and play with their cameras for fun? I'm sure Canon has a reason why it emails its CPS members before announcing to members of the public.

I dun think any member of the public would want to spend time to go all the way to Sentosa just to lay their hands on a "tank" that could not even shoot motion mpeg. Besides CPS members may not make up the bulk of people who would want to buy these 2 cameras.
