I believe it depends on their stock levels too. When 600D just came out, it took about 2 weeks.

i "trade-in" my camera last week but was not allow to do purchase with purchase as stated in the website.

would really like to have the purchase with purchase as my friend is looking to get the lens

has anyone has experience of managing to do the purchase with purchase?
if so, how do you manage to do it?

Whats the reason why you werent allowed to do that? If youre trying to get the lens only is not possible, it must be a kit

sorry, misunderstanding.

i have done the PPP (haven't collect the camera), but on the website, if i buy the body, i can buy a 70-300 lens for a discounted price.
but the CSO do not allow me to.

and i just realize, my PPP price is only 17+% discount from RRP
but if the RRP is not incl of gst, then the discount 23%

not sure is this cheap or not.
any idea the RRP is incl of gst?

Yes RRP incl gst. Not sure about d lens, maybe someone fr cs can share their experience

maybe i'll try to negotiate the price again when they call me to pick up the camera.
at least i can get a 3rd party battery with the extra 2%+

erm, honestly, i don't know.
coz i have not been following the street price

i trade in my slr for 600d body at $863 coz i would prefer to recycle the body then juz sell it to garang guni (the old body is faulty now)

the wait at the cs is short and cso was quite ok
so, no complains on canon service
only wondering if they can give a better price knowing most ppl here got 20% +- 0.5%

Yes, as long as it's Canon. Even film camera also can.

for the ppp, thinkin of trading in my dslr. Do i have to include the kit lens or will the cam body do?

The program give 20.5% right? For the new cam, do i have to opt for full price purchase or is there instalment plan?
