Canon PRIVILEGE PURCHASE PROGRAM

hopefully they really mean at the moment. :D

Yeah... same case like when I asked for 550D last time during the first launch.

Today they said cannot... The very next day, they said can. :bsmilie:

other than the spoil camera, do i need the battery charger & etc for the trade in?

Canon Privilege Purchase Program is a program that you get discounts by “trading-in” your old Canon camera for a new Canon set. It is basically a service to retain customers when your old camera is beyond repair, by offering you another new Canon camera with a discount. Below are some FAQs that I hope can answer most questions.

Q: What does CSC need for the old camera?
A: Only the body, they don’t need the rest, e.g chargers, manuals/CDs, box, strap, memory card…

If you still have any doubts after reading this, or unclear, pls call Canon Service Hotline at 1800-799 8686, or other inquiries at 6799 8888. However when you ask about this program, pls state the correct name, i.e. Privilege Purchase Program.

Did you read the 1st page?

Does it mean that even if 60d is included, i cant trade a PnS for it? Must be dslr for xxD series?

Cheers!

Was there in early august for the program. If i remembered correctly, to qualify for the XXD series, you'll need a slr or a dslr. PnS only allow you to qualify up to the XXXD series!

Tks!

Just called, Max range is 550d.

Apparently no more xxD series available.

Cheers!

Hi All,

Just want to see how much you all have paid for your S95 from Canon's Privilege Purchase Program. I understand that the percent discount has been revised due to overwhelming(?) response so I just want to hear from you who've picked this up. I think the original discount was 20.5% so you'd end up having to pay 79.5% of the suggested retail price of $669.

Thanks!

So sounds like the 20.5% discount is still intact.
