Do you guys print it out yourself?

it's 196 pages...nope..i did not by the way..:)

oh...and the free gifts I've got from Canon is a 8GB Lexar Platinum 2 card and a Ixus hard casing which I agree with most of you is cannot make it type..when putting in my extra card, I worry the camera pressed against it.

Maybe to you. But not to some others.

True, esp to those newbies like myself.

I did browse through the PDF trying to do photographic memory. Lol.
I mean it helps by looking thru. Knowing how to get to whatsoever functions.
Or what that button does.

Then I went on to research aperture, shutter speed, iso blah blah blah.
Manage to understand them, but need practice to really know the functions.

In fact, I only came across this thread yesterday.

Thumbs up for Sulhan.
All newbies to photography should read this first.

Thats a surprising change. The S90 which I bought end of last yr had one included in the box. In some ways I prefer printed manual than softcopy one - easier to bring around and refer to, and handier size too. Buy camera liao, can straightaway go out and shoot with manual on hand to refer to, just in case.

Everybody is going GREEN now. :bsmilie:

anybody know where to get screen protector for s95?

Does it cover the whole LCD?

Mine doesn't. :(

Very green! Because there is a big "COPY" watermark cover up the text when printed out, there is no point to print it out.

I have emailed Canon.

I just got the S95 today. I observed that when pointed to lightbulbs, vertical banding (blue/purple/pink colours) appears on the screen. The bands do not appear on the final photo though.

Is this normal?

Just found on the user manual; on page 173, it states : "When shooting bright light sources, a bar of light (plurplish red) may appear on the screen"

So it looks like screen banding is normal...

Just got MF screen protector from DOML. It fit nicely to the LCD.

anybody knows where still got stock and wats the latest pricing?
