Saw this in canonrumor, the G7X... looked interesting.

But from the photo... it seemed like this camera lacked something which I think is quite important (for me anyway)... no viewfinder and no hotshoe for additional accessories... the Sony RX100III had a viewfinder, the Fujifilm X30 has an excellent viewfinder, and I think the upcoming LX8 or LX100 had provision for a viewfinder, the X30 and I believe the LX100 has hotshoe for other accessories, the RX100II had hotshoe for accessories...
Why couldn't Canon just look at the market and come up with an otherwise excellent product?
