Didn't encounter anything abnormal, it's in perfect working condition. Btw, I view my footages on HDTV through a WDTV media player, great combination.

Just wondering is it possible to mount the Rode video mic on the HFS10 hot shoe?
Just got my camcorder from PJ:sweat::sweatsm:

i'm also thinking of getting HF-S100 for my upcoming europe trip.. is it better to get the HF-S10 with the flash memory onboard or just the HF-S100 with only the SD/SDHC memory slot?

I am most probably going to Hong Kong and I am getting Nikon Lens and Cannon HFS100 or 10.... anyone is interested. I think it is cheaper in HK.... I can do bulkpurchase?

Check with you guys whether the 'Canon iVIS HF S10' selling in PriceJapan is the same as Legria in Singapore? The price quoted there is very tempting ;p For those ordered from them before, how long does it take to reach me if I order by DHL? Need it rather urgently for my tour in end of the month.

Can Premiere Pro edit the native files w/o any issues?

interested in the HF S100 - w/o flash memory, use only SD Cards. Is there a limit file size that the video can be shot continuosuly only for 4 mins, then it will auto stop recording due to the FAT file structure?

how to convert the video to DVD for archive purposes? can we record to DVD recorder and burn into DVD just like DV tapes

I am currently using DV tape camcorder, and i can trf them to the DVD recorder directly and then burn into DVD on real time basis

Also, hows the image of still photos from the 8M pixels? quality as good as a Digital still camera of 5MP? If still image is not good, I may buy the lower range

I'm a noob looking for a camcorder to take videos of my baby (in a few months). I am also wondering whether the 'light' problem exists like in this video http://vimeo.com/4991966.

I am really quite tempted by the PriceJapan prices. So cheap!
